Stayed here for one night recently and was really impressed with the room. The bed was very comfy and the bedding felt premium. The room has everything you need for a short stay; ample desk space, sofa to lounge on, clean shower and good TV. Check in and check out were also very speedy. Would definitely recommend for a short stay if you need somewhere in the area.
Very hit and miss. Some staff are great, engaging and welcoming but this is not reflective of the whole team. The ones who let the side down create an atmosphere that isn't welcoming and they're often not that helpful. Especially when management are not around. The location is good depending on where you're going. Good links to buses and trains if you're not driving. You can get food delivered quick and easy via UberEats etc. Rooms are what you expect from Premier Inn, good beds and plenty of space. Not the cleanest place, this could definitely be better. Overall the poor performing members of staff and level of engagement they offer makes it hard to give anything higher than 2 stars. An adequate stay if you don't plan on staying long or you'll be out most the day and just need a good night's sleep.
Great place to stay on a budget if you're doing London for the weekend. Premier Inn is always clean and comfortable and this one has a nice pub joined on to it for food and or drinks. There is a train station which is about a 15/20 minute walk away or a 5 min car drive away and it has a big car park which isn't expensive. Also handy is the big Tesco just down the road. All in all a great premier Inn with easy access to London
For a budget category hotel this spot is not bad at all, smells and feels more premium than its positioned. The room was very clean and warm, bed was incredibly comfortable, the sofa in the room was large and comfy as well. The few staff available there were friendly and courteous. The food here seems to be very good in general, I've read good reviews about the breakfast, I had a prawn cocktail and fish and chips with peas and they were both fresh and tasty. There is no room service as is common with budget hotels as they are usually not plentifully staffed, so you will have to go to the restaurant for your food and drinks. The internet however was very slow and not suitable for video streaming, there is a paid option for a fiver a day, but the 5G coverage on my mobile phone was very strong here and more than enough to stream using mobile hotspot. This is a nice hotel and a very quiet area which was what I wanted for a couple of days. The rooms are large and suitable for 3 people quite comfortably with the large sofa if its permitted.
Great and very comfortable bed, very good shower. The room is impersonal and the carpet and furnishings not particularly clean. Breakfast less than perfect. Dreadful coffee, the hot drinks and juices away from the rest. The hot food, advertised as all you can eat would be better described as eat what you can find. When there was sausages and bacon there was no black pudding, when the black pudding arrived there were no fried eggs. All arrived eventually but it meant 3 trips to serve oneself. Will try to avoid in the future.
