We have been very impressed with Martyn Gerrard from the very first moment that we spoke to Declan when he contacted us about a house he thought we would be interested in. The subsequent communication, help and advice by all at the office really kept us going in what has been a lengthy and often challenging process, especially within today's market challenges. Staying positive at all times had been hard, but a few reality checks and good advice kept our heads up. Fantastically professional, honest and willing to understand all parties' situations to help get things across the line - thanks to all involved!!!
Huge thanks to Stewart, Declan, Martin and the rest of the team at Martyn Gerrard Whetstone. They were terrific at assessing our home and working out how to test off market and then the approach to take when we went on market. They also took a look at the house we wanted to buy, assessed how likely we were to find that sort of house again if we didn't manage to buy it and made it a priority to secure it for us. At the same time, they were committed to ensuring we got a good price for our house. Not an easy line to walk. They adapted to changing circumstances with good humour and efficiency, securing a viewing the day after we went off market, which resulted in an offer that made our sellers willing to wait for us. We put our house on the market on a Saturday afternoon and had the offer we wanted by Monday afternoon. Stewart was brilliant about following up with various parts of the chain and nailing down details of what was actually going on and making sure we got to exchange. I'm writing this review from the lounge of my new house, and while it felt like forever when it was happening it was actually incredibly quick, commissioning the team towards the end of Feb 22, and completing in early Jun 22.
After struggling for months to find a property in London the team at Martyn Gerrard were so helpful and quickly assisted with finding us a flat. From start to finish the service they provided was outstanding. Excellent communication, quick response times, and friendly and happy attitudes.
